2015/16 - 21st WESTPAC NZ FRANCHISE AWARDS
Bay of Plenty Master Franchisees Richard & Sheila Logan were one of three Finalists from around NZ, for the Master Franchisee of the Year award. Top prize went to a Sth Auckland Master Franchisee with some 85 Franchisees in their territory, underlining just how challenging it is to win the Award.
However, V.I.P. Lawns & Gardens Mangawhai Franchisees, Cameron & Katie Brooks, won Franchisee of the Year in the Home Services category, confirming yet again that Franchisees who engage with and operate a V.I.P. Franchise can stand proudly in any company, knowing they are running one of the top-rated Franchises of it's type in New Zealand.
V.I.P. Home Services has now won 15 awards at the annual NZ Franchise Awards since 2002.
2013/14 WESTPAC NZ FRANCHISE AWARDS WINNER - Home Services Franchisee of the Year
Home Cleaning Franchisee Courtenay Robinson edged out 5 other finalists to win this title at the 2013/14 Westpac NZ Franchise Awards.
Courtenay joined V.I.P. Bay of Plenty in 2008 when she invested in an existing business that became available when the Franchisee decided to start a family. She quickly grasped the opportunity and began building a highly successful business centered in Mt Maunganui.
She soon found the V.I.P. brand could help her generate far more business than she could cope with on her own and expanded by employing staff. Business growth has been remarkable to the extent revenue is currently some 400% higher than when Courtenay took it over.
The Awards judges made the following comments regarding Courtenay's Franchise..."With a clearly demonstrated vision, this winner shows good business understanding and a clear focus on running a successful business."
2012/13 WESTPAC NZ FRANCHISE AWARDS WINNER - Master Franchisee of the Year
This was the second time Master Franchisees Richard & Sheila Logan won this award.
Sheila & Richard are immensely proud of their win, achieved under strong pressure from four other very impressive finalists.
The judges commented "this is a very well run Master Franchise, demonstrating excellent business goals, processes and support systems, They have sound strategic understanding of how their results link to the implementation of their processes. Their hard work has paid off with V.I.P. Bay of Plenty achieving strong growth over the past 3 years in customers, Franchisees, royalties, revenue and gross profit."
2012/13 WESTPAC NZ FRANCHISE AWARDS FINALIST - Home Services Franchisee of the Year
Home Cleaning Franchisees, Bernie & Alan McIsaac, received high accolades for their Westpac NZ Franchise Awards entry in a hotly contested year.
Alan & Bernie had joined V.I.P. two years earlier and proved to be exceptionally skilled at securing quality cleaning contracts. They quickly established an outstanding reputation with their clients and fellow Franchisees and were appointed Area Managers in the V.I.P. Bay of Plenty Cleaning Division.
Their business grew rapidly while, at the same time, they were able to reduce their travel some 85% by having newly appointed Franchisees take over servicing their more distant clients.
2010/11 WESTPAC NZ FRANCHISE AWARDS HIGHLY COMMENDED - Master Franchisee of the Year
Master Franchisees Richard & Sheila Logan impressed the Westpac NZ Franchise Awards judges again this year.
2009/10 WESTPAC NZ FRANCHISE AWARDS WINNER - Master Franchisee of the Year
Master Franchisees Richard & Sheila Logan won this award on their first attempt at the Westpac NZ Franchise Awards, something that is not very common, just two years after taking over the Bay of Plenty Master Franchise.
Since taking over the Franchisee base grew by more than 30% which the judges described as "impressive results". The judges further commented on the "effective approach to dealing with their Franchisees and the provision of support to them".
